St. Tropez

St Tropez looks its best bathed in the fading light of a Mediterranean sunset. A famous and exclusive resort town on the French Riviera, the hot spot is as famous as a glittering hub for the rich and famous as it is a sparkling coastal gem. Images like these have inspired artists from Cezanne to Matisse to come and paint here, and you can still find many little artist’s studios and galleries in the narrow, cobbled lanes of the Old Town. Many of the sunset coloured buildings overlooking the Old Port are bars or restaurants, where you can while away a pleasant afternoon watching the moored boats as the sun sets over the Mediterranean.
